THE REALISATION RIVER RUN

2 cars left checkpoint F.T and headed to the Wye river run... dropping 1 car off at the finish for emergency food, water and the valuable lift to the start point .. we got ourselves ready at luckshall campsite and busting our moves through the waiting canoeist's we launched on another warm sunny day on the river ....
The river is now becoming a playground for SUP and whilst it used to be spinning the board by nose and tail down rapids we've now found how much fun standing waves can be .... much fun was had and to be fair Jerry found the standing wave of the day, discussing this and filming whilst in the standing wave seemed funny and we were laughing away even as Tim T was told off by a local for " landing " on the opposite bank just to take a photo .... the local was dutifully ignored and we carried on ...
on a picturesque quite and Serene part of the river Tim T turned to Jerry and me and while pointing back up river landed the bombshell as quoted " errrr lads i just realised the car keys are in simo's van " back at the start . this news broke Jerry and me into laughter .. well theres nothing we can do so lets carry on !!!!!! the last mile or 2 was made in more subdued atmosphere but not as bad as Tim thought it would be and after 5mins at the landing point pleading for anyone going our way, we managed to secure Jerry a seat however cramped in a car heading back to our start point so the daunting thought of running 8 mile was averted .... mean while simo and Tim waited it out sunbathing .... lads it was another memorable river run and thoroughly enjoyed ... I'm sure we wont let Tim T forget this run for a long long long time .... video to follow
